BIOGRAPHY:

Coming from a long line of renowned yellers & screamers, David Kolarik (pronounced kohl-ARR- ick, or just "CLARK" if you're syllablically challenged) was born and raised in the shadow of Chicago's Midway Airport, where he frequently clashed with roaring jet engines, blaring sirens from emergency vehicles, and his older brother Mike for sonic supremacy.

Not content with this constant struggle, Dave turned his attention to music, and in late 1975, with the help of his mom, cut his first home-made recording, "Rhinestone Cowboy", a duet of sorts with Glen Campbell. Similar collaborations with the Beatles soon followed, skills on the piano were acquired, lost, then re-acquired, and a sense of purpose was established.

As time progressed, the music got heavier, and the voice got louder & higher. Soon, Dave was introduced to karaoke: audiences were thrilled and astonished. A period of enlightenment began, with discoveries of Rush and other influential bands rapidly being made, culminating in the formation of Chronicles in mid-2008. After years of preparation, the time is now to pay homage to those masters. Let the chapters of Chronicles be written! He is married and lives in the northwest suburbs with his wife and "fur-child" Tino, a black lab mix (pictures on request).
